Yoga unites the mind, body, and soul in a way that eases tension and promotes health. Regular practice improves breathing , increases endurance for other activities, and promotes mindfulness. Take a break from your day. Focus yourself and find clarity.
With Intentional movement and by quieting our mind and stilling our spirits, we begin strengthening our body His Temple. Creating space in our hearts and body by releasing the hurts, mental/physical traumas, emotional baggage, resentments, unforgiveness toward ourselves and others that we intentionally or unintentionally cling to and harbor in the recesses of our body and soul. By freely allowing Jesus to access those spaces and replace them with more of His likeness and heal those areas that are sometimes even hidden from ourselves.
All Classes are either private in your home or Group Classes in your Church or Venue
Connecting the Mind, Body, & Spirit to The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit so that He becomes the essence of our character and we allow him access to every cell and space in our mind and body to heal us and enable us to become more like Christ.
1 Cor. 3:16 -Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst?

Hello, my name is Candice. I came to Christ in 2006 when I was struggling to understand my purpose, life’s meaning and working through a fractured marriage. Receiving Christ as my Lord and savior, studying the word and learning of His love and purpose for us helped me to become more grounded in Christ. Seeking Him in all things and seeing Him in all things has helped to move me through this life with His Grace. I first started practicing yoga for exercise 11 years ago. I dabbled off and on in it for several years and eventually fell away from it as life and circumstances began to rule my world. Life and work stress began to cause mental and physical wear and tear on my body and mind and cause unwanted issues. Symptoms of weight gain, anxiety, insomnia, body pain, headaches all began to dictate my life and steal my joy. I realized that I NEEDED something more in my life and in my world, I needed balance, peace, restoration, and rejuvenation that are promised in His Word. As I contemplated what method that I needed, I thought back to the last time I really felt good, and that was when I was seeking a deeper connection with God and practicing Yoga for physical movement. I started attending Yoga classes at a local studio. It was a cozy little studio and after a few sessions it felt like home. The classes not only satisfied the need to physically move my body, but it enveloped and embraced me with the philosophy, the breath, the meditation, the peace I was seeking as I centered my practice and focus on God. The instructors and the teaching touched my heart, mind, body, and soul. I began to see and feel things changing within me physically, mentally and with my health. I had peace, my anxiety was waning, my body and mind felt stronger. My soul was on fire, I loved it and I wanted to share the beauty of it with as many people as I could. So, I started my journey into my 200-hour RYT training to become a Registered Yoga Alliance instructor in Holistic Flow Yoga. I received my Yoga Alliance certification in April of 2019. Diving deeper into my personal practice, my passion for yoga and its benefits grew stronger and stronger as well as deepened my connection and relationship with Christ. This deeper more fulfilling connection fueled my desire to share its many facets of healing, strength, connection, and empowerment with others. As a Christian yoga practitioner, I realized that many Christians were not comfortable with Yoga as it was felt to be associated or based in alternative religions. As I moved through my initial training and learned about the philosophy and history of Yoga. I learned that Yoga, meaning to yoke or unite was working with and on the mind and to connect the mind, body, and spirit and the methodology has been useful in religious studies throughout history. I began seeking counsel and courses in Christian and Biblically rooted Yoga and found Yahweh Yoga, using the methodology of yoga to study scripture and draw closer to and surrender more fully to God our Creator and Christ our Savior. After much research on their program and background I chose to further my training with them. I expanded my training with them in more specialized fields to be able to bring the benefits of Christ centered yoga to a broad spectrum of those in need. My training includes basic nutrition, Yoga for all ages, children to seniors, post-traumatic stress, women and men’s health, trauma informed yoga, health issues, addiction, and recovery in the form of vinyasa, hatha, restorative, and yin yoga practices. I received my 500hr Yahweh Christ Centered Yoga certification in November of 2020 with my 500-hour Yoga Alliance Registration pending. It is my heart and souls desire to share the beautiful connection of the mind, body, and soul that Christ centered yoga creates. It is a great honor and joy to be able share the healing peace, strength, comfort, and empowerment of Yoga with you. Thank you for allowing me to share this practice with you.
Namaste and The Lords Blessings,
Candice
